IPSR offers a “fixed price” alternative in addition to the standard time-based pricing method. If they choose the former and depending on the specifics of the engagement, clients will be quoted a fixed price that includes study design, data collection, analysis, and report writing.
In addition to the advantage of being able to estimate the total cost commitment, fixed pricing frees the parties from “watching the clock” while encouraging everyone to focus on the task at hand. Clients are billed one-third each at the inception of the engagement, at the completion of data collection, and at the submission of the final report.
